Origin:
NE America, Michigan and neighboured States

Laboratory comment:
(Lmichig2) is about flowering earlier and appears in deeper red colour, whereas (Lmichig1) flowers a few weeks later and a shows a more red coloured strain. We plainly keep both apart.

Propagation:
sowing Lilium michiganense (orange forms) # 1 PB ´07.17 (Lmichig1)
25% of germination, seedlings
