Origin:
China (Gansu, Hubei, Sichuan); grassy places along rivers, altitude of about 400 – 2.500 m. At the variation Lilium leucanthum var. leucanthum tht tepals are tinged greenish, it´s the smaller variant with stems of ~100 cm
